Memorable PROJECTS

Project |01

When the Rain Stops Falling|| Cygnet Theatre Company

In the position of Assistant Stage Manager, Sarah attended every rehearsal and production meeting. Her job was to maintain the rehearsal space while ensuring that the actors had access to various props and rehearsal pieces, occasionally standing for actors in their absence.

Once the show progressed into technical rehearsals and shows, Sarah was incharge of the backstage environment including special effects, set changes, actor relations and various problems that arose during the show.

The Tempest|| Grove City College

For her final show at Grove City College, Sarah was given the opportunity to be a part of the design process and complete an independent study on Advanced Scenic and Properties Design. Under the title of Technical Director, she worked along side the directors to find their vision and translate it into their desired vision. Her pet project was Ariel's harpy wings with 600 individually laid feathers and a 14.5 ft. wingspan.

RED || Grove City College & KCACTF

In February of 2014, Grove City College put up a two week run of John Logan's RED which Sarah was the stage manager and production manager for. The unique part of this production is that in December of 2014 the school was invited to remount the production on January 5th in Cleveland, Ohio for the Kenedy Center American College Theater Festival.

Sarah was asked to return and help recreate the production in a temporary space in a record amount of time. In the remount as well as being the stage manager, Sarah also took on the roles of sound designer and props supervisor for the travelling version of the production.
